CFLs

• CFLs are offered at special pricing at the point of purchase to SWEPCO residential customers who purchase qualifying products at participating retailers. Click here for a store list.
• Qualifying CFLs will also be designated on in-store signage, or ask a retail sales associate which products qualify.
• Availability of special pricing is first-come, first-served.
• Limit 6 CFLs per purchase.

CFLs

• Special pricing for CFLs is available to SWEPCO residential customers at participating retail locations.

ENERGY STAR Window A/Cs, Clothes Washers, and Refrigerators

• Unit/appliance must be installed at a home or multifamily unit with a valid SWEPCO residential account.

• Appliance purchases made at other retailers are also eligible, but may be required to provide proof of recycling of old appliance.
• Rebate form and supplemental documentation must be accurate and complete or it may result in a delay or ineligibility of rebate.

Step 2: Install your new CFLs and enjoy the energy savings.

ENERGY STAR Window A/Cs, Clothes Washers, and Refrigerators

Step 1: Purchase a qualifying ENERGY STAR appliance
Step 2: Install the qualified appliance
Step 3: Complete and submit mail-in rebate form and supporting documentation
Step 4: Receive rebate in the mail in 4-6 weeks from paperwork submission
(Note: To qualify for a rebate on a refrigerator purchase, old refrigerators must be hauled away and recycled. Ask your disposal company for verification of recycling.)

CFLs

Refrigerators

• SWEPCO's residential customers will be eligible to submit a mail-in rebate for qualified ENERGY STAR refrigerators.
• Customers will receive up to $150 for the purchase and installation of qualifying refrigerators. Click here for a list of qualifying products.
• Availability of rebates is first-come, first-served. Rebates may not be reserved.
• Limit 1 refrigerator rebate per household.
• To receive SWEPCO's refrigerator rebate, customers must purchase a new refrigerator and show proof that the old refrigerator has been recycled. Click here for a list of participating retailers.

• SWEPCO has verified that The Home Depot, Metro Appliances & More and Sears provide haul-away and recycling for refrigerators. For refrigerators purchased and delivered by The Home Depot, Metro Appliances & More or Sears, no proof of recycling is required.
• For refrigerators purchased at any other retailer, the customer is responsible for obtaining proof of haul-away and recycling documentation for the old refrigerator in order to receive SWEPCO's rebate. Ask your haul away company to provide a haul-away and recycling certificate.

RECYCLING GUIDELINES: All old refrigerators shall be dismantled in an environmentally safe manner in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Refrigerators cannot be sold, traded, given away, reused or exported across state or international borders to qualify for SWEPCO's refrigerator rebate.

Clothes Washers

• SWEPCO's residential customers will be eligible to submit a mail-in rebate for ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers.
• Customers will receive $100 for the purchase and installation of qualifying products. Click here for a list of qualifying products.
• Availability of rebates is first-come, first-served. Rebates may not be reserved.
• Limit 1 clothes washer rebate per household.

Window Air Conditioning Units

This rebate will be offered beginning March 1, 2012 as a mail-in rebate.

• Window A/C units are offered at special pricing via mail-in rebate to all customers who purchase qualifying ENERGY STAR units.
• Customers can receive up to $55 for the purchase and installation of qualifying products. Click here for a list of qualifying products.

• Limit 2 window air conditioner rebates per household.
